What is PageRank?
PageRank is Google's way of deciding a page's importance. It is very important because it is one of the factors that determine a page's ranking in the search results. If your site is number one in the search results you will get many more visitors and make much more money. If a site is PR9 (PageRank 9), then Google considers that site to be extremely important. A site that is ranked PR0 or PR1 is not very important in Google's eyes and probably won't show up very high in the search results.
